RESTORING PURCHASES AND GAME PROGRESS
Can I restore my purchases if I have deleted the Touchgrind X app?
Yes, you can. If you had connected your Touchgrind X account to either Apple, Facebook or Gmail before deleting the app follow the steps below:
- Make sure that you have a working Internet connection
- Reinstall Touchgrind X and open the app
- Go to ‘settings’ and tap ‘Sign in’ in the upper right corner
- Log in to the same Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail account that you used before deleting the app
- Restart the app
If you hadn’t connected your Touchgrind X account to neither Apple ID, Facebook nor Gmail before deleting the app follow the steps below:
- Log in to the same iTunes or Google Play account that you used when you made the in-app purchases in Touchgrind X
- Reinstall Touchgrind X and open the app
- Go to ‘settings’, tap ‘restore purchase’ and follow the on-screen instructions
Note: With the ‘restore purchase’ button under the ‘settings’ menu you can only restore purchased cosmetic in-app purchases. Trick packs and other resources are consumable in-app purchases and cannot be restored through the ‘restore purchase’ button. To restore these you must have been connected to either Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail before deleting the app.
Is my game progress saved if I delete Touchgrind X?
If you had connected your Touchgrind X account to either Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail inside the app before deleting it your progress is saved. Sign in to the same Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail account after reinstalling it and restart the app to retrieve your game progress. If you didn’t connect your account, game progress will be lost.
Is game progress and purchases transferable between devices?
Yes. Game progress and purchases can be transferred between devices if you have connected your Touchgrind X account to either Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail. On the second device, open Touchgrind X, go to ‘settings’ and tap on ‘connect’. Sign in to the same Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail account that you used on the other device.
Note: Cross platform transfers, e.g. Apple devices to Android devices are not supported.
IN-GAME
How long does it take before I receive a purchased item?
You should receive purchased items momentarily. Follow the steps below if you didn’t receive anything:
- Make sure that you have a working Internet connection
- Shut down the app and restart Touchgrind X
- If it still doesn’t work, restart your device and try again
Should none of the above work please contact us via the support link below including device name and model, iOS or OS currently installed and receipt of the purchase.
Where can I change my profile name?
To change your profile name:
- Go to ‘settings’ (gear icon) in the Home menu.
- Tap the ‘Pen’ icon next to a text field with ‘user’ and a new ‘Change Name’ window should appear.
- Write your new user name in the text field and tap ‘Save’.
How do I reset my game progress?
Go to ‘settings’ and tap ‘sign out’. Disconnect from the Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail account that you are connected to. Restart the app. Game progress should now be reset. Connect to a new Apple ID, Facebook or Gmail account to safeguard your game progress and purchased cosmetics and consumables (trick packs / resources).
TRICKS
What’s the difference between a backflip / frontflip and a bikeflip?
When performing a back- or frontflip the rider stays on the bike. Swipe with your fingers just BEFORE you leave a ramp. When making a bikeflip (front, back or side) the bike is spun around without the rider staying on it. Swipe with your fingers AFTER you have left the ramp.
What is an insane trick?
These are the titles for barspin and tailwhip tricks:
- Barspin: 1 revolution (360 rotation)
- Double Barspin: 2 revolutions (720 rotation)
- Triple Barspin: 3 revolutions (1080 rotation)
- Quad Barspin: 4 revolutions (1440 rotation)
- Insane Barspin: 5 revolutions (1800 rotation)
What is Flippin’, Clean, Clutch and Late landing and how do I maximize my score?
‘Flippin’‘: Executing a perfectly timed Rider Flip (Frontflip / Backflip / 360 Air) before a jump earns a score boost.
‘Clean‘: Stopping tricks too early before landing results in no additional score.
‘Clutch‘: Achieving a perfectly timed trick stop before landing grants a high score boost.
‘Late‘: Delayed timing of trick stops before landing results in a minor score boost.
Vary your tricks for maximum score. Combos with different tricks yield higher scores than repeating the same trick. Pairing combos with “Clutch” timing will skyrocket your scores.

PURCHASE ISSUES AND REFUNDS
When I try to make a purchase, a progress wheel shows up but nothing happens.
Try the following:
- Go to settings on your device
- Go to iTunes and App Store
- Tap your Apple ID and sign out
- Sign in to the same account that you used at the time of the purchase
- Restart Touchgrind X
Should there still be a problem, contact us on the support link below with a description of the issue plus some additional information:
- Device name and model
- iOS currently installed
- App Store purchase receipt

How do I change in-game language?
Touchgrind X has been localized to the following languages: English, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese and Turkish. There are two ways to change the language inside the app:
- On iOS – go to your device’s settings.
- Scroll down, locate and tap TGX.
- Under preferred languages, change to one of the languages above and restart the app
How do I set up parental control on my device?
- Go to settings on your device and tap screen time
- Tap Content & Privacy Restrictions. If asked, enter your passcode
- Make sure that Content & Privacy Restrictions is set to on
- Tap iTunes & App Store Purchases
- Choose a setting and set to don’t allow
How do I delete my Touchgrind X account completely?
If you have signed in with either Apple ID, Facebook, Google or Apple, you can delete your account. In Touchgrind X, go to the settings menu, and press “Delete Account”.
Once you initiate the deletion, there’s a 10-day window during which you can recover your account. If you sign in within this period, the account will be reinstated and the deletion stopped.
Note: Account deletion only applies to Touchgrind X.

COMPATIBILITY
Why can’t I download or play Touchgrind X on my device?
Your device needs to be compatible with the technical requirements of Touchgrind X.
If your device doesn’t meet the requirements you won’t be able to install the game. A few devices have also been manually disabled because they have shown to not be able to run the game even when they meet these requirements.

How do I change in-game language?

The Touchgrind X fonts are blurred out and unreadable.
The issue could be a setting on your device called ‘High contrast text’ or ‘High contrast fonts’. Try to turn it off:
- Shut down Touchgrind X
- Open your device’s settings app
- Tap accessibility
- Turn off high contrast text
- Start Touchgrind X
How do I set up parental control on my device?
- Open the Play Store app Google Play
- In the top left corner, tap menu and then settings and then parental controls
- Turn on parental controls
- Create a PIN
- Tap the type of content you want to filter
- Choose how to filter or restrict access
